Seenet Bridge - A Cooperation network among local governments for development and dialogue in Sout-Eastern Europe
2007: Bridge stage
Once the first step of Seenet Programme was concluded, in 2007, the Tuscany Region promoted the initiative Seenet Bridge - A Cooperation network among Local governments for the development and dialogue in South-Eastern Europe aimed at giving a continuation to the relevant results obtained in the first step so as to arrange a new stage of the Programme.
One of the most important results of Seenet Bridge initiative was the agreed enlargement of partnership both in South-Eastern Europe and in Italy on the basis of the previous relationships among territories.
Through round tables and meetings with the different partners, a new project proposal has been created and submitted to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the beginning of 2008 and approved on July 31st 2008 with Resolution no. 100.
The bridge project has been funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Tuscany Region.
