Enhancement of local resources for the development of rural tourism in the regions of Herzegovina and Dubrovnik

The Action aims at creating a cross-border Wine and food route, between the regions of Herzegovina and Dubrovnik, through the activation of a network of public and private actors of tourism and food sectors, as a permanent engine of development, enhancement and promotion of territories.

The Action aims at increasing competences and skills of local administrators and technicians in the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of sustainable and integrated projects for the enhancement of local resources, encouraging participation and commitment of local actors in the development processes, creating new products and services and, therefore, new employment perspectives and economic fallouts, encouraging the relationships between private and public actors, developing alliances and partnerships between partner municipalities and with cantonal and national institutions.

The Action intends to enhance the cultural and environmental resources of partner territories and, consequently, the tourism offer through the development of eco-museums and scattered hotels, according to the different environmental, social, cultural and institutional contexts.
