The strategy of SeeNet Programme is based on the idea of partnership and sharing of goals of the actions it promotes and, from this point of view, represents a chance of growth for the institutions of both sides of the Adriatic Sea.
SeeNet involves more than 60 partners. The Italian partners involved are the Regions of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marche, Piedmont, Veneto and the Autonomous Province of Trento while, in South-Eastern Europe, 46 local authorities coming from: Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, besides many technical partners of both sides of the Adriatic Sea and the Secretariat for the Operations.
Among the Italian Regions, the Leaders have been identified according to the specific field and for the performance of the actions. These leaders can make use of the operative collaboration of the technical partners of the Programme and actively involve the actors of the regional systems of decentralised cooperation, such as local authorities and other organisations of their territory.
The authorities involved have been identified according to previous and strong partnership relationships among South-East European territories and those of the Italian Regions/Self-Government Provinces. Partner local authorities in Italy are asked to capitalise their best practices and competences and, by working in synergy, share them with South-East European partners. In this way, the enhanced interventions will be those that are integrated and sustainable in the time, able to have system impacts that amplify the effects of the single project initiatives.
